Fifth Edition of Day of the Doctor Races in Vallarta Team Angels - Carrera Dia del Medico

Welcome to Gran Carrera Dia del Medico, The Great Race of Doctor's Day on Sunday, October 22 beginning at 7:00 am.  

Thanks to the participation of runners, companions and companies for being part of the celebrations, the race will be the 5th Edition.

This race in its first year (2013) had a journey of 5 kms with an influx of more than 650 runners. In the second year (2014) 10 kms was added with more than 850 participants positioning itself as one of the most affluent races. This year we expect more than 1200 runners.

This year runners will compete for 5, 10 and Half Marathon (21 kms). The race will travel between the Agustín Flores Contreras Sports Stadium and Marina Vallarta. The beginning of the 21K race will be at 7:00 am, the 5k at 7:05 am and the 10k at 7:10 am starting from Marina Vallarta (see the map at Carrera Dia del Medico).
 
With the slogan of "Come and feel your heart beat in Puerto Vallarta," the races are endorsed by important local, state and federal institutions.  

This event is listed as one of the best events in Puerto Vallarta and Riviera Nayarit thanks to its excellent organization and atmosphere of camaraderie between the local, national and foreign participants  as well as commercial companies that promote their businesses and advertise their products.  

Children's Race will be Saturday, October 21 beginning at 4:00 pm at Agustín Flores Contreras Sports Stadium, across from Hotel Sheraton Bugambilias on Ave. Francisco Medina Ascencio.
