I know you all remember that great Welcome Back fundraiser Amigos de la Cruz held last year ("the Dinner in White") your white outfits were all simply divine!!!

And that band was to die for, right???? And the secret venue was sooooo wonderful, so was the food!!!! Thanks, Huanacaxtle Musical and Alamar.

Well, I have it from my sources that this year's party is a "Black and White Masked Gala"  on Friday, December 8th.....the venue of course is secret.

But the band will be the same one.....fantastic news, Huanacaxtle Musical.

I heard some rumours about an auction too, maybe a roulette wheel, .......and they are calling it "A Night to Remember."

So, here is my tip for you all.....when you head down to Mexico to your winter home be sure to bring a mask, a black or white gown, black or white outfit for the men......and you'll be set.

Ticket Includes: Transportation, Dinner, Music (Huanacaxtle Musical), Dancing & Live Auction (Robert Burkheimer, auctioneer). We'll meet at 5:00 pm at the La Cruz Marina entrance - Langosta and the Plaza.
From there you will be provided transportation to the Secret Location.
 
Dinner Buffet:
 
• Tossed Salad: with choice of dressing: honey mustard, blue cheese or Italian vinigarette
• Bread: Pan rustico
• Entree: Chicken Teriyaki or Vegetarian Lasagna
• Sides: Mashed potatoes & Oven-Roasted Vegetables
• Dessert: Apple & Pear Strudel

Tickets will be for sale online at EZ Tix on October 1, but they are even more limited than last year, so purchase early. Donation tickets are 850 pesos and space is limited to 125 guests.

I will bring some masks down with me in case you need one.....proceeds go to Amigos de la Cruz, my favourite charity, of course. We'll have masks for sale at the Amigos table at the Sunday Market (opens November 5). If you see that special mask you just gotta have - contact Patricia Spencer at spencerp@live.ca or Amy Welch at amywelchpdx@comcast.net and we can reserve for you. No two masks are alike. Each blast will feature different masks for sale. All proceeds to Amigos de La Cruz.
