The Mexico City Government together with Banco Santander Mexico announced a partnership to offer "proof-of-life" solutions to police and firefighter pensioners utilizing Nuance's VocalPassword technology.
The program, Viva Voz, allows 19,000 pensioners to use their voice to prove their identity in order to collect their pension checks. As pension payment fraud is prevalent, the government is using Nuance's voice biometrics technology to combat this issue.
