As a surge of child migrants hits the U.S.-Mexico border, Jorge Ramos travels to Laredo, TX and the Rio Grande River to immerse himself in the journey that migrants face far from the public eye.

The force of the Border Patrol is on full display during a ride-along with agents. Eighty miles north of Mexico, a mass grave in Texas holds the forgotten stories of migrants who don't make it any farther. Many cling to the death train, La Bestia, as they rattle their way north. Driving along the border's thin line between freedom and tragedy, desperate masses and political division are never far away.
