Ice Bucket Challenge Miguel Herrera (Miguel Herrera DT)
Mexico head coach Miguel Herrera was one of the breakout stars of the 2014 FIFA World Cup in Brazil thanks to his energy and enthusiasm that was displayed on the sidelines.
Now, Herrera is the latest member of the sports world to join in on the viral ALS Ice Bucket Challenge to raise awareness for amyotrophic lateral sclerosis or ALS (more commonly known as Lou Gehrig’s disease).
The ALS Ice Bucket Challenge has helped to raise more than $40 million for ALS related charities within the past few weeks, so it is great to see the trend continuing.
If you would like to make your own donation to help fight the disease, you can do so at ALSA.org.
We invite you to add your charity or supporting organizations' news stories and coming events to PVAngels so we can share them with the world. Do it now!
From activities like hiking, swimming, bike riding and yoga, to restaurants offering healthy menus, Vallarta-Nayarit is the ideal place to continue - or start - your healthy lifestyle routine.
