The Federal Public Ministry of Mexico today began four inquiries over the distribution of credit cards allegedly used to buy the vote for Enrique Peña Nieto, who won the elections on July 1.
The investigation was prompted by the candidate of the Progressive Movement coalition, Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador, who denounced the irregularities before, during and after the election.
In a press conference last week, Lopez Obrador, occupying second place in elections, presented Soriana shopping cards related to the alleged fraud.

FEPADE government agency charged with the prosecution of electoral crimes, which was informed of the existence of at least two thousand consumer cards.
The Fepade could take more than three months to resolve these findings and the more complicated could be to identify the party operators that have promoted the vote buying and coercion, said officials from the Attorney General's Office (PGR).
The prosecution does not have set times to meet the preliminary investigations, but cases like Soriana cards are considered relevant by the prosecutor Imelda Calvillo Tello, said the daily La Jornada.
As expected, Septmber 6 is the deadline for the Electoral Tribunal of Judicial Power of the Federation to resolve all disputes submitted by irregularities in the elections last Sunday.
