2017 Ford F-150 Raptor: Born to Baja | 360/VR (Ford Performance)
The Baja 1000 is a grueling off-road race that takes place in Mexico’s Baja California Peninsula over 36 hours, with only minor stops for adjustments. In FordVR’s latest story titled “Born to Baja” viewers get a virtual reality look at the 2017 Ford F-150 Raptor taking on this “baptism of fire, dust, and rock.”
Narrator Denis Leary sets the scene in this six minute story, beginning by introducing us to the Ford Rouge Plant in Dearborn, Michigan, a state-of-the-art factory where F-150 trucks roll off the assembly line. This is where the Raptor was made, and it’s set to take on the world’s most brutal test of a truck.
The full story from the Rouge Plant to the finish line is well worth the watch, giving viewers a look at live racing action from all angles.
