Symphony of the Seas to Set Sail in 2018 from Miami (CBS News)

The World's largest cruise ship - Symphony of the Seas - belonging to Royal Caribbean, has set its sail for summer, 2018.

This cruise ship measures about 230,000 tons and 1,188 feet long. It departed from STX France shipyard in St. Nazaire on June 9, following the completion of its exterior, says a statement from the company.



The 15-deck ship will be undergoing interior construction and is expected to go into service on April 28, 2018.

The Symphony of the Seas will be sailing the Mediterranean in 2018's summer. It will be traveling to the United States, winding up at the Royal Caribbean's new terminal at Port Miami. It is scheduled to commence a four-night cruise on 9th November 2018. One of its stops will be in the region of Cozumel in Mexico. Thereafter, it will alternate seven-night eastern and western Caribbean cruises.

... The Royal Caribbean Cruise Line was established in 1968 and is the second-largest cruise vessel of the world just behind Carnival Corporation.
