The Fiestas Patronales de La Santa Cruz de Huanacaxtle came to an end with a bang and plenty of music, dancing, food, drink and fun last Friday evening.
Nine days of celebration (not recommended for the faint of heart) culminated with a splendid evening of Folklorico Ballet from both the Bucerias and La Cruz troups and as expected at midnite, Delegado Angel gave the "GO" to light the pyrotechnical tower that sat dead center in the Plaza Principal Benito Juarez.
This was followed by more music which I'm sorry to say, I missed. We all have our limits and this was mine…
A huge congratulation to the La Cruz Delegación especially El Profe Carlos Ariel and Delegado (Angel) Alberto Garcia de Haro for their unflagging effort in organizing this annual event.
Video from all 9 days is "in production" to make a 20 minute video (YouTube limit) and this will take a while since there is over 4 hours of footage.
In the meantime, enjoy the photos at InsideLaCruz.
