In this age where our heroes are sports stars, leading actors, and rock idols, we have the opportunity to acknowledge and recognize the true unsung heroes: our Puerto Vallarta firemen and lifeguards who continue to keep residents and visitors protected and safe.
On Saturday evening, June 29th, we have the opportunity to thank the 90 men and women of the Puerto Vallarta Fire Department by attending 'Cena con Causa' ('Dinner with a Cause') coordinated by DIF Puerto Vallarta.
The fundraiser, beginning at 6:30 pm, will feature a sumptuous buffet, live music, auction and special guests.
The event will take place in the air-conditioned Salon Jalisco at the Krystal Hotel & Resort.
Donation tickets are just 300 pesos with funds allocated for training and equipment.
Tickets are available at the Fire Department located at Avenida Las Américas 565 in Colonia Lázaro Cárdenas as well as volunteers in the Marina, Southside, Bucerias and Nuevo Vallarta.
