On Friday evening, September 6th in San Francisco, CA, Punta Sayulita hosted a book signing event for renowned fashion photographer and Sayulita resident, Anne Menke, featuring her critically acclaimed photography book, See the World Beautiful.

The book features photographs of people and cultures from around the world, taken by Anne during her globetrotting for various fashion-shoot assignments.

The evening was a great success with over $3,500 raised for the Costa Verde International School's scholarship program in Sayulita, Riviera Nayarit.

Just last week Anne was featured in the New York Times as a participating photographer in a new marketing campaign for Condé Nast Traveler magazine which you can read here.

Punta Sayulita would like to thank gracious co-hosts Will & Kelly Wick for opening their beautiful home for the event which provided for a stunning location offering views of San Francisco Bay on a balmy Indian Summer evening. Will, a recognized interior designer and founder of Wick Design Group, is designing the interiors for a member's custom home at Punta Sayulita scheduled for delivery this fall.

See the World Beautiful contains stunning photography from renowned photographer and Sayulita resident Anne Menke with the Foreword by American fashion designer Tommy Hilfiger.

Texts by luminaries such as Peter Beard, Paul Johnson and Paul Smith explain where fashion meets culture in ethnic populations in Latin America, Europe, Asia, North America, and more.

Anne Menke has traveled the world on assignment for the likes of Vogue, Harper's Bazaar, Vanity Fair, and The New York Times, usually in search of the perfect environment to shoot a fashion spread. Through this, she has discovered that these environments themselves are the origins of much of the fashion we see on the runways today and has compiled an incredible record of people and places with that in mind.

See the World Beautiful is available for online purchase at Amazon.
