Umbrella Downwinder & Paddle Rally 'Summer Sailstice' in La Cruz Team Angels - PVAngels

All you need is your dingy, kayak or paddleboard and an umbrella for a fun wind-filled drag race thru Marina Riviera Nayarit in La Cruz to Oso's Oyster Bar.

Celebrate the Summer Solstice on Saturday, June 21, in La Cruz de Huanacaxtle, Riviera Nayarit.

Start the afternoon off with a BBQ at the Marina La Cruz pool and finish the day with music and a bonfire at Oso's.

Registration for the Umbrella Down-Wind Drag Race begins at the Marina pool at 2:00 pm on June 21. The race takes off at 3:00 from between Docks 2 & 3 and heads for Oso's Oyster Bar.

For the SUP Paddle Board Rally, registration will open at Oso's Oyster Bar at 5:00 and the race with begin at 6:00 pm, beginning and finishing at Oso's.

Possible classes that will be set based on registration are Rowing Inflatable, Hard Dingy, Kayak and Paddleboard.

The event is being hosted by PV Sailing Mexico and prizes sponsored by the local businesses of La Cruz de Huanacaxtle.

Yes, the boats are put away for Hurricane season but the dingy and umbrellas are handy... Join us for the Umbrella Downwind run through Marina La Cruz. All you need is something that floats and an Umbrella!
