60th Puerto Vallarta Marlin and Sailfish International Fishing Tournament Team Angels - PVAngels

The 60th edition of Puerto Vallarta's Billfish Tournament will be held November 11-14, 2015 and will return to its original roots at the Rosita Hotel in Downtown Vallarta.

Registration will be held from 5:00 until 10:00 pm on Wednesday, November 11 at the Rosita Hotel.

The opening ceremony at the Rosita will begin the three-day tournament at 7:00 on November 12. The anglers can take off anytime after midnight on the following two days of fishing.

Receptions and weigh-ins will be held each afternoon on the Marina Vallarta Boardwalk, next to the Marina del Rey condominiums between 1:00 and 6:00 pm. The Awards Ceremony will follow at the same venue at 7:00 pm on November 14.

The four categories for winners are Sailfish, Marlin, Tuna and Dorado (Mahi Mahi).

First Place winner in the Sailfish category will take home a Nava 23' sportfishing boat with a Mercury 90 outboard motor. Second place wins a 2015 Chevrolet Matiz and Third place wins a 4 person stay at the CasaMagna Marriott plus professional fishing gear. Also in the Sailfish category, the first angler that beats the current Sailfish tournament record of 70.600 Kgs will be awarded a Chevrolet Matiz.

In the Marlin category, First Place is awarded a 2016 Chevrolet Aveo. Second Place wins a 2015 Chevrolet Matiz and Third Place will be awarded a resort package at Buena Vista Resort Los Cabos including a luxury fishing trip for 4 people. The first angler to beat the tournament Marlin record of 322.300 Kgs will will a 2015 Chevrolet Matiz.

The winner in the Tuna category wins a 2015 Chevrolet Matiz. Second Place wins a stay at Vallarta Gardens Beach Club & Spa with Third Place taking home a Black Barts Lures Kit. The first angler breaking the Tuna tournament record of 176 Kgs will be awarded a 2015 Chevrolet Matiz.

Finally, the Dorado (Mahi Mahi) First Place winner will be awarded a 2015 Chevrolet Matiz. Second Place will win a 14' aluminum Crestliner boat with a 15 HP Sea Pro motor. Third Place takes home a Black Bart Lures Kit.

There will also be Catch & Release and Best Crew awards.
