Puerto Vallarta to Host the XII Congress of Most Beautiful Bays in the World Vallarta Uno

The XII Congress of the Most Beautiful Bays in the World will be a great showcase for Puerto Vallarta since the vast majority of the delegates representing countries where this tourist destination has spread its presence and allow many attractions in much of the world.

The meeting bearing the slogan "The Bay and People in Harmony," is to be held from October 29 to November 3, and has already confirmed the participation of 22 countries and approximately 120 delegates.

The opening ceremony will take place on Sunday, October 30 at 5:00 pm hours at the headquarters Canto del Sol Hotel, and will be chaired by the host Mayor Arturo Davalos Peña.

Attendance of the heads of the Departments of Federal and State Tourism is expected, as well as the governor of Jalisco, Jorge Aristoteles Sandoval Diaz. It is noteworthy that during the ceremony the President of the Club of the Most Beautiful Bays of the World, Maria das Dores Meira, will also be involved.

On Monday, October 31 conference participants will have the opportunity to see the beauty of the destination with various activities such as the Tequila Tour and the Banderas Bay Tour. The goal is to show the tourism offers of Puerto Vallarta and the beauty of the destination so they will also become promotors of this Mexico resort.

On Tuesday, November 1 will begin the work of the assembly with presentations on various topics such as the attractions of the Bay, evolution of the municipality in education tourism-oriented, yesterday and today in the Bay of Banderas, by Dra. Rosa Maria Chavez Dagostino, history of the Bay by the chronicler of the city Juan Manuel Gomez Encarnacion, development and tourism promotion of our destination by the Director of the Tourism Board, Agustin Alvarez, and a presentation of the International Fishing tournament.

On Wednesday, November 2 meetings will take place and the closing ceremony is planned for 1:00 pm.

This year the event coincides with the celebration of Day of the Dead in Puerto Vallarta and throughout Mexico, which the tourism authorities have decided to plan a very special festival to honor visitors from all over the world and demonstrate a real Mexican party.

At 4:30 pm the participating delegations with corresponding flags will join the parade of the Day of the Dead on the Malecon.

The Club of the Most Beautiful Bays of the World is a select group of 38 bays, located in 25 countries on four continents, who must meet certain criteria, such as being the subject of protective measures, have wide diversity of flora and wildlife, remarkable and attractive natural areas, be known and appreciated at local and national level, to be emblematic for the local population and have significant economic potential. It is noteworthy that Banderas Bay is the only representative of Mexico.
