Becas Vallarta's motto, "Changing Lives Through Education" is the mantra that drives each of our members daily.

In late August each year, all scholarship students meet at Los Mangos Library with the all-volunteer members of Becas Vallarta and the America-Mexico Foundation.

We invite the community to attend the graduation ceremonies for this year at Los Mangos Library on August 18 and 19.

Over the years, we have sponsored thousands of young Vallartenses through junior high, high school, university and even medical school.

Following is your invitation:

Dear Becas Vallarta Friends,

We are happy to invite you to observe the activities of Becas Vallarta A.C./America-Mexico Foundation, Inc. at the Biblioteca Los Mangos, Avenida Francisco Villa 1001. We will be awarding scholarships to our senior high and university students on Saturday, August 18, 2012 and to our junior high students on Sunday, August 19, 2012 - both days from 10:00 am until 3:00 pm.

We would be so pleased if you could come by to observe, speak with the students and write your comments in our new Becas Book. We think that seeing the importance of the scholarships to our over 400 students, their demeanor and their gratitude, will provide a moving experience and make you truly a part of this incredible endeavor.

We know that we could not have kept this foundation functioning for over fifty years without the help of our donors. We want to share with you the experience of seeing the administration of this program that, through education, has changed the lives of thousands of Puerto Vallarta’s young people.
