Patron Saint Festival Bucerias - Monday through Sunday

The best traditions strengthen the culture of their people. The Bucerías Patron Saint Festival is a shining example, maintaining the enthusiasm of the participants thanks to its rich religious, social, commercial and touristic value.

The festivities begin on January 16th and end on the 24th, the Day of Our Lady of Peace, mother and protector of fishermen, with the marine pilgrimage of the Peace Torch.

It is a series of conversations supported by an effective and fun method of learning about Mexican culture, geography, history, literature, art, government, and its many peoples.

It is a tool for English-speaking individuals living in or visiting Puerto Vallarta to expand their understanding of their adopted country, Mexico.

Democrats Abroad Movie Screenings - Tuesday

The Costa Banderas Chapter of Democrats Abroad invite you to join us every Tuesday at 7:00 pm for our traditional film series screenings from November 22, 2016 until April 4, 2017.

We have a new venue this year which is the comfortable Jazz Foundation located in Old Town Vallarta on the Malecon at Allende.

Please come early at 6:00 pm on the day of the film and enjoy food & drinks before the film starts.

No Gracias Fundraiser for Seniors - Tuesday and Wednesday

No Gracias! is a two act, light musical comedy, written and directed by Brus Westby about a Canadian couple who leave their hearts and more in Mexico.

Performed in English by the "Paradise Players" of Bucerias, this fundraiser is presented to benefit Bucerias Tercera Edad A.C. (Seniors of Bahia de Banderas) whose Mission is to construct a full time assisted living care home providing quality of life for our Seniors.

We hope you'll join us on January 17 & 18 at 6:00 pm and on January 19 at 2:00 pm at the Nuevo Vallarta Stage and Forum (beside the Wine & Burger Bar & Grill).

PuRR Project Kitty Bingo at Margarita Grill - Wednesday

Come play Bingo with us at Margarita Grill on Wednesday, January 18!

We’ll be giving away great prizes like like 200-peso gift certificates for Kaiser Maximilian, Derby City Burgers, Roberto’s Seafood and Blake’s Sports Bar, gorgeous jewelry, bottles of tequila, Bailey’s, Sangria and wine, and MUCHO mas — plus our famous 50/50 raffle, and Margarita Grill’s food and drink specials just for us Bingo players!

Downtown Vallarta Art Walk - Wednesday

Puerto Vallarta has established itself as a vibrant center of art creation, exhibition and promotion. An important contribution to the city´s art scene is Puerto Vallarta´s Art Walk which this year will be held every Wednesday, 6:00 - 10:00 pm through May 31, 2017. The participating galleries in Centro Historico offer works by important national and international artists. Remarkable paintings, exceptional sculptures, fine ceramics, blown glass and other types of noteworthly art are offered.

Collectors, patrons, residents and interested visitors can discover art of outstanding quality in the 8 participating galleries where exhibiting artists present their work.

Canadian Consulate Information Session - Thursday

The Consul of Canada to Mexico, Mr. Christian Jolicoeur, and the Senior Consular officer for the Consular Agency in Puerto Vallarta, Adam Charlebois, would like to invite all Canadians living or travelling on the coast of Jalisco, as well as those in the state of Nayarit and Colima, to an information session on consular services available to Canadians in Mexico.

The presentation will take place from 1:00 - 2:00 pm on Thursday January 19th at the Krystal Hotel's Salón Jalisco C in Puerto Vallarta. A French presentation will also be offered the same day from 3:30 - 4:30 pm.

Bohemia Viva at The Palm - Friday

Puerto Vallarta's sweethearts, married couple Luis Lujan and Andrea Mottura, return to their 'other home' thrilling us wth their stylings, vocals, guitar and harmonies.

Bohemia Viva will perform at the Palm Cabaret on January 20, 21, 27, February 22, March 1, 8, 15, 22, 29 at 7:00 pm, and February 1, 8, 15 at 9:30 pm.

Solidarity March in San Pancho - Saturday

We call on all defenders of human rights to join us. We work peacefully while recognizing there is no true peace without justice and equity for all.

We celebrate social justice and social equality and we protest white supremacy, racism, bigotry, sexism, xenophobia, homophobia, denial of climate change and all other forms of intolerance.

We will meet at 10:00 am on Saturday, January 21 at the soccer field on Tercer Mundo in San Pancho, Riviera Nayarit.

Vallarta Cup Race Series - Saturday

Nuevo Vallarta’s Vallarta Yacht Club (VYC) is testing out the 2017 winds in Banderas Bay during its Vallarta Cup Race, the first great event of the year in the Riviera Nayarit.
 
The competitions will take place around noon on each of January’s four Saturdays; in the afternoons the boats will return to the VYC, where a theme party will be ready to greet them. This year the first party will rock live country music and a Tex-Mex style menu.

The Voice of Vallarta - Sunday

Voice of Vallarta Callback Auditions will be open to the public on Sunday, November 6 at 8:00 pm at the Main Stage of Act II STAGES. Tickets are available 50 pesos, or 150 pesos including one drink.

The Voice of Vallarta will be held every Sunday evening, from November 27 through April 9.  A Voice of Vallarta Season Pass is now available online at Act II.

V.I.P seats in the first three rows, one cocktail per show, and seats for the big closing night. Check it out!

Rockabilly Sensation at Palm Bucerias - Sunday

Our stage is ready for 1950s Great Hits! The Sunday nights in Bucerias are set for swing/rockabilly dancing, great drinks, and fun for the whole family with Rockabilly Sensation show!

Rockabilly Sensation best known as Joker Trio Band. Based from Guadalajara city with Rock and Roll, Surf, Blues with unmatched style.

Influence by Elvis, Chuck Berry, Teen Tops, The Hooligans and more...

Every Sunday through March, 2017 doors open at 6:00 pm and performances will begin at 8:30 pm.
