A new non-profit PrEP clinic will open to fill the void left with the recent closure of SETAC, with some former SETAC financial supporters and leaders taking the helm to help lead the new not yet named non-profit.

While the new organization is still in planning stages, due to the urgent nature to continue to provide PrEP services, a temporary space has been donated inside ThrIVe IV & MedSpa on Basilio Badillo 277-A, in Zona Romantica (Col Emiliano Zapata) so that doctors can meet with patients and continue their PrEP treatment.

Former SETAC patients can use one of the following methods to follow up on an appointment, or for new patients to make an appointment. An exact date was not given on when those appointments would start, except that it would be “next week” (or the week of Jan. 8, 2024).

“If you were previously enrolled in the SETAC program you can use the following WhatsApp number 322 128-6793 and our contact form to follow up with your appointments,” explained Jet De La Isla, Jet’s Adventures + FB’s Largest PV Gay Group, Communications Director for the new organization, in a press release.
