The archaeological site of Uxmal has been modified and remodeled to turn it into a Handicap Friendly Facility for senior citizens and handicapped people, so they can visit without moving difficulties.

This transformation has been performed by the National Institute of Anthropology and History (INAH), as part of a program of accessibility to buildings and archaeological sites for people with disabilities that has been running since 2011.
