The crystal clear waters of Puerto Cancún Marina in Mexico hosted the 2nd qualification event of the year for 2014 Youth Olympic Games. (svk1pp)
Held at Cancun, Mexico, 70 competitors from 8 countries took part in the North American Windsurfing Championships for the RS:X and Techno 293 Classes on February 20-23.
The winner in the T293, which is a popular youth board, was Maximo Nores (USA). Winning the divisions for the Olympic RS:X board was Demita Vega (MEX) in the 8.5 rig and Ricardo Santos in the 9.5 rig.
