Protests were held simultaneous in over 50 cities across the country in support of the 16 doctors from Pediatric Hospital of Occident Medical Center of the Mexican Social Security Institute of Guadalajara.
The 16 doctors were facing a criminal trial for alleged medical malpractice for the death of a minor occurred in early 2010, according to the local press.
