In Mexico City, thousands of teachers took to the streets on Wednesday, to protest against education reforms in the country. This comes after President Enrique Pena Nieto announced that the controversial teacher evaluations will move forward as planned.
The education reform, including a constitutional change to create an autonomous teacher assessment body, is considered a one-rule-fits-all approach by those opposed to the reforms.
