A team of journalists and experts assembled by Animal Político, the Spanish-language sister publication, monitored President Enrique Peña Nieto's State of the Nation Address on Sept. 2 and fact-checked his assertions in real time.
Then the team, collectively known as El Sabueso (that is, the sleuthing canine that sniffs out the truth) issued its verdict on the veracity of each — "True," "False," "Almost True," "Misleading," and so on.
