The Mexican rock group Mana on Wednesday called on undocumented immigrants to unite to fight for immigration reform and to halt the avalanche of Republican attacks.

During their participation in an event in Los Angeles to motivate the Latino community to vote in the 2016 presidential election, the band exhorted Latinos to go to the polls and support the more than 11 million undocumented foreigners who are in immigration limbo.

“Let’s suppose that I’m ‘illegal’ and I have a pal, a relative or a friend and I say, hey, get out there and vote for the candidates who support us,” said lead singer Fher Olvera.

Mana’s invitation to undocumented foreigners was made during a live broadcast of a special edition of the popular radio show hosted by Eddie “Piolin” Sotelo.

The broadcast is part of a campaign to register new voters and came on the same day that 11 Republican aspirants for the U.S. presidency, including controversial real estate magnate Donald Trump, are facing off in their second televised debate.
