This edition of "Cultura Latina", hosted by Mauricio Izquierdo, begins in Mexico City, where the School of Rock is turning out promising musicians. Students of all ages learn the art of producing rock in a non-structured teaching environment with informal musical training methods.
Then its off to Quito, for a visit to the Casa del Arbol cultural center, a space for community interaction that features a weekly farmers' market, reading classes for children and parents, craft workshops to learn hobbies such as weaving.
