This weekend, astronauts at worldwide Space Station (ISS) entertained themselves with the upcoming space travel movie “The Martian”. The movie will officially premiere on October 2nd, 2015 in the U.S. The theme? Being stranded in outer space, of course.

Lindgren and Kelly have read the Andy Weir novel that serves as the basis for "The Martian" and Lindgren said in an interview with AP that he was hoping to have a copy of the film beamed up to space. It’s certainly not a bad way to show support, albeit in the form of entertainment, though that could be quite valuable in the boring surroundings and routine on the ISS.
