The water gushing from some of Mexico City's fountains was dyed red as part of demonstrations marking one year since the disappearance of 43 Ayotzinapa normal school students.

The action was part of the so-called Day of Indignation, during which thousands of people in Mexico City, cities across the country and in countries elsewhere mobilized demonstrations.
