Update: Mexico Steps Up Search for Escaped Tiger, Seizes 3 Other Big Cats (CTV)
Locals and holidaymakers at the Mexican beach resort are urged to be on their guard as a tiger is on the loose. The animal escaped from the Mangrove Paradise restaurant in Acapulco, where it was apparently kept on display.
It is thought the big cat has since killed five cows after the owner of a ranch found the dead carcasses two miles from where the tiger escaped.
Local police and environment officials are still searching for the animal which has now been missing for four days.
