The Rolling Stones will play Mexico City during the band's 2016 Latin American tour.
That news, anticipated by rumors among local Stones fans, was confirmed by Mexican promoter CIE President Alejandro Soberón on a radio show this week and subsequently reported by the business news website CNN Expansión and other Mexican media.
The concert, planned for March, according to Soberón, will be the group’s first in Mexico City since its 2006 A Bigger Bang tour.
