Residents of the community of El Molino, Mexico City, blocked traffic this week as part of a protest demanding the installation of a pedestrian bridge over a nearby highway.
The isolated community took the action after complaining of a lack of progress on a planned bridge promised by Mexican authorities.
Mexican police kept a watchful eye over the protest but did not make any arrests.
