The 21th National Meeting of Solidarity with Cuba wrapped up on Sunday at the University of Guanajuato, Mexico, with the adoption of an action plan to support the Cuban Revolution.
Attended by hundreds of delegates from several Mexican states, representatives of social and plitical orgaizations, of the National Regeneration Movement and the Labor Party, the forum demanded the end of the US blockade against Cuba.
The meeting was convened by the Mexican Movement of Solidarity with Cuba, with its leader Jesus Escamilla calling for a greater involvement of the young people to secure the continuity of actions to back the Cuban people.
Escamilla paid tribute to late Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez, a champion of Latin American integration, on the third anniversary of his death.
