President of Mexico Enrique Peña Nieto condemned the terrorist attacks at Brussels airport and a rush-hour metro train occurred on Tuesday.

On his Twitter account, the president regretted the tragic events and expressed his solidarity with the people of Belgium.

“We expressed our condolences to the victims' families and our hopes for the speedy recovery of the wounded," he wrote.

He said the Ministry of Foreign Affairs through the Belgian Embassy, is ready to assist the fellow countrymen.
