The government of Mexico City has joined a show of international support for the attacks in Brussels, capital of Belgium, which left at least 34 dead and over 200 wounded.
On Twitter, the mayor of Mexico City, Miguel Angel Mancera, expressed his solidarity with the people and Belgian government. "Mexico City regrets developments in Brussels and sympathizes with the people of Belgium."
Similarly, the colors of the Belgian flag lit up emblematic monuments such as the Angel of Independence, as well as the seat of the Senate. In the central November 20 avenue, big screens projected the flag of Belgium.
In this way and after condemning the attacks, the capital administration is proudly supporting all those affected by these shameful acts of terrorism.
