Carrier has been manufacturing furnaces out of Indianapolis, Indiana since the 1950s, producing 10,000 a day. Naturally, workers were shocked when the company announced it would be moving jobs to Mexico, calling it a move of "choice and greed," rather than of necessity or survival.
