The power of technology has brought the world to bed-bound children battling cancer.

Sick children at Saint Jude Children Research Hospital in Memphis, Tennessee, have had their dream travel adventures come true.

Travel company Expedia used 360° cameras and live-streaming technology to bring distant locations to life in the hospital as a part of their “Dream Adventures” initiative.

A group of Saint Jude patients were asked to share their passions and dream travel adventures, ranging from playing with monkeys to digging for dinosaurs.

Expedia employees then captured the experiences in real time, and live footage was projected onto the floor, walls and ceiling of a four-wall virtual reality installation at the hospital.
