Latin music superstar Juan Gabriel will kick off his MéXXIco Es Todo 2016 tour with an Aug. 16 concert at Valley View Casino Center (formerly the San Diego Sports Arena).

The tour concludes Dec. 4 in San Jose. In between come dates across the nation, including shows in Los Angeles, Las Vegas, Miami, Dallas and Brooklyn. (All dates and ticket information appears below.) The tour’s title, MéXXIco Es Todo, translates as “Mexico is Everything.”

Gabriel will be accompanied by an 80-piece ensemble. It includes 50 Mariachi and orchestral musicians, 10 singers and 20 dancers.

Gabriel, 66, is a native of Parácuaro, Mexico. Recently, he won the Top Latin Album honor at the 2016 Billboard Music Awards for his for his Latin chart-topping duets collection, “Los Dúo.” His newest single is “Gracias al Sol,” (video below) a Spanish language version of Creedence Clearwater Revival’s “Have You Ever Seen the Rain?”
