At the Forum of Latin American Solidarity Against Neoliberalism, held in Mexico City, union leaders from Brazil, Argentina and Mexico, condemned neoliberal policies that currently affect millions of workers.

Hosted by Nueva Central de Trabajadores and the Sindicato Mexicano de Electricistas, participants expressed the urgent need to halt the offensive staged by the right-wing in Latin America.

The event was attended by representatives from the Brazilian Central Union CUT, as well as Central de Trabajadores de Argentina and Confederación General de Trabajadores (CGT), also form this latter country.

Rolando Lobato, from CGT, said that his country is paying the consequences of the empowerment of the most reactionary right-wing policies, said the online version of the newspaper La Jornada.

Meanwhile, Claudio Gomez, leader of CUT, said that while managements of Lula Da Silva and Dilma Rousseff took 75 million people out from poverty, the neoliberals boost a fierce offensive against social policies.
