Gangs and violence in Central America have forced young residents to migrate north. Mexico is one of the main transit countries for migrants who are often the victims of poverty, crime and extortion on their journey.
Many make it to shelters in Mexico where they can remain for months.
This week’s Game Changer is helping them with bicycles. “Americas Now” introduces you to the founder of Quiquica…Abril Reza.
Quiquica is a bicycle shop in the south of the capital city. The shop brings together the sport of cycling with the needs of the migrants.
