The 28th Mexican Forum in Solidarity with Cuba adopted its plan of action and objectives for 2013 during its closing session, held at the Universidad Obrera, in Mexico City.

Over 530 delegates from 25 Mexican states backed the final declaration of the conference, which ratifies the commitment by the organization to keep defending the Cuban Revolution.

The document expresses the decision to intensify actions against the US economic blockade and interfering policy against the island.

Also included in the document, is the compromise to keep supporting the struggle for the release of the five Cuban anti-terrorist fighters held in the United States and for the return to Cuba of the Guantanamo territory, occupied by the United States.

The Mexican activists will also increase their efforts to spread the truth about Cuba in the face of media campaigns that respond to reactionary interests, PL news agency reported on Monday.
