Woman climbs border fence and runs right into senators (ABC News)

On a visit to a town in Arizona on the U.S.-Mexico border, Sen. John McCain and three other senators in charge of crafting immigration reform legislation saw a woman climb over the 18-foot fence.

McCain, R-Arizona, who had invited Sens. Chuck Schumer, D-N.Y., Michael Bennet, D-Colo., and Jeff Flake, R-Ariz., to tour the area Wednesday, tweeted about the illegal border crossing.

"Just witnessed a woman successfully climb an 18-ft bollard fence a few yards from us in Nogales," he tweeted.

He followed it up with a tweet on how the situation ended: "Border Patrol successfully apprehended her, but incident is another reminder that threats to our border security are real."
