The Lost City, undocumented immigrants Candelaria (Alberto Garcia)

Imagine living everyday with the fear of being deported. Not having any help surround you with the nearest town being an hour away. That is the everyday life of the people of Candelaria, Texas. Alberto Garcia is a writer and producer that is looking to shed some light on this issue with his documentary, “The Lost City”.

“I want people to see life through the perspective of an undocumented person. I’m not looking to change a lot of things but I basically want for people who typically wouldn’t empathize to try to see life through their view. Everyone there is somebody’s sister, brother, father. What if this was your sister or father? I want them to see life through another perspective, through the perspective of an undocumented immigrant,” shared Alberto.

... Alberto Garcia is currently trying to raise funds for his documentary “The Lost City” on Kickstarter, a creative website that allows artists with ideas to fund their own projects. Click here if you would like to help.
