A massive strike by teachers against education reforms along Mexico's border with the US has forced many parents in the area to homeschool their children.

Teacher strikes are common in Mexico and the president has pushed through reforms in the hope of addressing some of the ingrained problems with the system in the face of growing resistance from some teacher unions.
