MEXICO CITY — Mexico dismantled New Zealand 5-1 in a key World Cup qualifying playoff game in Mexico City on Wednesday.
Barring a miracle in the second leg of the two-game series, Mexico will qualify for the 2014 World Cup in Brazil.
