'Friends For Jimmy' Fundraiser to Fight Cancer Jennifer Brinckmann - Amigos de La Cruz

Most if not all of you know Amigos Jimmy Lennon and Karen Cope.

They have worked tirelessly and at their own expense at times for the betterment of La Cruz and Bucerias for many years, whether in charity work, committee work with Amigos de La Cruz or Beta Sigma Phi International Service Sorority, with the Friendship Club, or in cleaning up the arroyos from time to time. Many of you will know Jimmy as the Amigos de La Cruz graffiti-cover-up guy.

Well, now they need our help as soon as possible.

Jimmy has prostate cancer. He has had some expensive treatments and will need surgery very soon. With the bills mounting quickly, we must act fast.

That is what the 'Friends For Jimmy' is all about... our chance to give back to Jimmy and Karen.

Please come out on January 30, 2013, to Hikuri (Octopus's Garden) in La Cruz from 7:00 to 11:00 pm for a fun and hopefully productive evening.

You will be able to donate directly to the Jimmy Lennon Medical Fund with the Donation Box and through taking part in the Silent Auction, the Live Auction, Door Prize Draws, Music, and much more. We have not set a target for this fundraiser... they appreciate any amount we can raise.

Come on friends and supporters of Jimmy and Karen. They have lived in this area for many years and have worked for you and supported the establishments and activities of both La Cruz and Bucerias.

Have fun. Mingle. Listen to fabulous music... and give as much as you can.
