The Bucerias Children's Library (Biblioteca Publica Rey Nayar) will be presenting Maestro Rigoberto Mora and his students in a "Classical Guitar Concert on the Green" on Wednesday, February 6, from 4:30 until 6:30 pm.
Rigoberto Mora was born in Cordoba, Veracruz and studied music education at Facultad de Musica de la Universidad de Veracruz. After studying composition with Richard Siwi, Eugene Sleziak, and Cuban guitarist and composer Leo Brower he has been actively involved in composing music and performing in Banderas Bay area for over twenty years.
He continued his studies on classical guitar with Enrique Salmeron and Manual Lopez Ramos bringing him to the fine artist he is today. Rigoberto recently performed as the solo guitarist in the PV Chamber Orchestra Spring Concerts and continues to delight audiences around the Bay.
This event is to honor the contributions of our founders and former Board of Directors for Biblioteca Publica Rey Nayar.
Preceding the concert, there will be an Appetizer Social and an honorarium.
Please bring an appetizer to share and Bring Your Own Beverage.
The green is located behind Restaurant Ixta and will have two entry points: Entrances will be on Calle Lazaro Cardenas and also on Calle Francisco Madero with plenty of parking available on F. Madero. Just look for the balloons.
