Welcome to the Third Edition of the Punta Mita Gourmet and Golf Classic 2013, an event we have created that will allow you to experience the best of local and international food & wine and the opportunity to play Jack Nicklaus' World Class courses. Bon Appetit and Cheers.

In celebration of the finest cuisine and golf in the region, the third annual Punta Mita Gourmet & Golf Classic returns to Riviera Nayarit on April 11–14, 2013.

Organized by Four Seasons and St. Regis resorts, Punta Mita, and Riviera Nayarit, the event puts a spotlight on this amazing coastal location while focusing on golf and gourmet dining.

This year, the Classic is thrilled to announce that LPGA legend and former No. 1 Female Golfer in the World, Mexico's own Lorena Ochoa, will be an honored guest at this event, even leading a golf clinic on the first day where she will share with us techniques and other secrets that led her to success worldwide. What a way to kick off the Third Edition of the Punta Mita Gourmet & Golf Classic!

The Golf Classic for the Punta Mita Cup will be played beginning at 8:30 am on April 12 and 13, with Best Ball on the Pacifico Course & Scramble on the Bahia Course.
 
• 2-Person Best Ball. Each team has the same two members. Lower of the two net scores recorded. Full handicaps applied.

• Scramble – after each shot, the best of the two shots is selected and both players play from that spot, until the ball is holed. One team score is recorded. Handicap – 80% of the total handicap of the 2 players divided by 2 is applied for the Scramble.

Gourmet delights will be presented by Celebrity Chefs such as Thierry Blouet from Café des Artistes, a Cooking Class with Chef Kaz Okochi at Aramara Bar where you will discover the culinary secrets of Japan, and experience Mexico's 2012 Female Chef of the Year, author of the cookbook "Mexico Contempo" Lula Martin de Campo where she will share with her guests her vision of Contemporary Mexican Cuisine... and a lot more.

Wine makers, Sommeliers, Mezcal and Tequila Masters will present special tastings and pairings.
