After the success of "Vallarta Pride", the organizers, a committee of the GEGPV business association, is happy to invite all LGBT and LGBT friendly businesses to its monthly meeting on Tuesday, June 11.

This month's meeting will be hosted by Jae Palsce at her restaurant NU on Púlpito 115-1 in Puerto Vallarta´s Romantic Zone. Jae explained that it is important for her to be a part of the LGBT community, "If you have a business in the Romantic Zone, 75% percent of your customers are LGBT. The LBGT community is very important for the economy of Vallarta." She is greatly appreciated by the community and the Neighborhood Association for being so supportive and for promoting Vallarta "As Beyond Gay Friendly." Jae said, "Vallarta Pride was a testimony to what can be achieved if the City, the neighborhood and the community cooperate and work together."

Mark and Nancy Page of Gay Guide Vallarta will present their newly developed APP. Mark stated, "With all the negative publicity Mexico gets, tourists are quickly amazed at how well organized the community in Vallarta is. Puerto Vallarta boosts a wide variety of activities, bars, clubs, hotels and restaurants and the opportunity to go to the beach 338 days per year."

Following the digital trends, Gay Guide Vallarta will bring the LGBT community into the 21st century with their user friendly APP based on a Facebook platform. Tourists and residents will be able to access all information on the LGBT Community in a few simple clicks. Page explained, "Customer experience and word of mouth are the best advertisement.  If tourists feel safe and thoroughly enjoy themselves, they will return and bring their friends with them. Easily assessable information helps in creating a great experience here in Vallarta."

Christian Serrano of Gay Vallarta Bar-Hopping has agreed to share a DVD of the fantastic pictures he took during the pride weekend. Christian stated, "What would be a better backdrop to the important networking and socializing that occurs during the monthly luncheon, than the outcome of what the community can create when it works together."

The GEPV luncheon will take place on June 11th from 2:00 to 4:00 pm at NU. Please join the GEGPV Facebook page for more information about the association.
