Our mission at Paraiso Felino is to provide a safe place for cats, kittens, and the occasional puppy - we`ve had three this month- who are homeless, promote sterilization of dogs and cats, educate the local community about the care of their pets & the environment,and to teach responsibility by example.

With more than 200 cats, we need to keep improving our infrastructure as well as caring for the daily needs of our residents (food, medicine, etc).

We distribute at least one 11.5 kg. bag of Kirkland brand cat food every day at a cost of more than 8000 pesos per month. (259 pesos/bag)

Presently Feline Vaccines are needed at 55 pesos each (minimum order 50). We need to come up with 2750 pesos per order of 50 vaccines. At least 150 cats need boosters or annuals at the moment.

A refrigerator that someone no longer needs would also be an excellent gift to the shelter, to be able to store medicine, vaccines and open canned food on site.

Stop by and fall in love with one (or two) of our adorable kitties and give them the forever home that they deserve.

"Gifts of Love" are donations made in honour or in memory of a special person or pet. These tribute gifts are really a thoughtful and meaningful way of acknowledging a loved ones memory, expressing your good wishes or commemorating a special occasion. The tributes will be placed on our website as well as the other venues we employ.

How you Can Help? Could you donate a bag of food or deposit the equivalent in our bank account? Help to buy vaccines? Do know you of someone who might have a working fridge they no longer need?

Newspaper, towels, mops, cleaning products, cat litter are all supplies needed daily for maintenance.

Drop off on site at Paraíso Felino in San Juan de Abajo - food, supplies or funds by phoning first and confirming someone will be there to receive. Salon Diva’s in Bucerias will also forward donations. Our official website has a Paypal button for easy online donating and deposits can be made to our official bank account at BANORTE or our non-official account in Canada.
