The Palm Cabaret and Bar will return for our 2013/2014 season starting November, 2013!

The Palm Cabaret has been bringing you outstanding performers from all over the world for more than 10 years in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico. This season, it gets even better!

Located on Olas Altas, Vallarta’s most popular entertainment and restaurant strip on the south side of town (also known as Zona Romantica), The Palm Cabaret and Bar is the perfect place to relax and enjoy world-class live entertainment and superb drinks and service. With two shows nightly during the high season, The Palm brings you the finest in cabaret style entertainment with guest artists from Mexico, Canada, the USA and beyond.

Tony Tripoli, ‘Dirty, Sexy, Funny'  - Dec 20, 2013 thru Feb 7, 2014

Tony Tripoli grew up in Phoenix, Arizona, and moved to Los Angeles in 1989, to attend the acclaimed American Academy of Dramatic Arts. Immediately upon graduation, he put his incredibly prestigious and expensive degree to use by moving to Japan to work for Tokyo Disneyland. You can imagine how thrilled his Mom was.

He followed that up with a stint as a Chippendale (yeah, that’s right…. the strippers), and, in a real moment of pride, sang Cole Porter songs for the American Plumber’s Association, on stage with a dozen toilets.

He has played single-dimensional gay guys on such hit TV shows as “Fashion House” with Bo Derek and Morgan Fairchild and “Two and a Half Men” with Charlie Sheen, Jon Cryer, and that F’ing half-man…

Yes, he was also on “Kathy Griffin: My Life on the D-List” as well, but, it’s best not to bring that up…

Tony writes hilarious one-liners for Joan Rivers, which she uses in her act, on her reality show, and on “Fashion Police” at E!. He knows he should be troubled that all his jokes make sense coming out of the mouth of a 77 year old Jewish lady, but, screw it, she’s a goddamned legend.

Tony was also a staff writer on STYLE network’s hit show, “The Dish”, hosted by Danielle Fishel.

Continuing to dominate basic cable channels that you don’t even know you have, Tony appeared on LOGO’s “THE GOSSIP QUEENS” and “PRETTY HURTS”, and is a regular commentator on the TV GUIDE Channel, making inappropriate remarks on such specials as “The 25 Sexiest Hollywood Couples” and “The 10 Funniest Commercials of the Year.”

You can also look forward to his outrageous remarks in an upcoming series of specials, airing this year on E!, and as a regular on season two of “Joan And Melissa : Joan Knows Best?”, on WEtv.

Tony is thrilled to be the first openly gay comic to open for Joan Rivers, and hopes you’ll come see them in action! You can enjoy his solo stand-up “Tony Tripoli: Dirty, Sexy, FUNNY” all over L.A., on gay cruises, in Provincetown, or at your place, as long as the check clears.

Amy and Freddy: Jan 12 thru 31

After 15 years of working together, Amy & Freddy have their entertaining musical-comedy cabaret act down pat, which makes seeing one of their performances a special treat thanks to their one-of-a-kind wit and impressive musical prowess.

They have taken their show to more than 20 countries and worked with Kathy Griffin, Jennifer Holiday, Phyllis Diller and more. In addition, Amy & Freddy were showcased on America’s Got Talent and have released four albums highlighting their cabaret style.

Their performances on RSVP Gay cruises for the past 10 plus years have garnered them a well-deserved popularity around the world.  Their shows at The Palm often sell out so reservations are definitely recommended.

Jorge Acosta & Amigos (most Mondays @ 7:30 pm)

Jorge Acosta is one of Vallarta’s most well-loved and well-known singers. Classically trained, Jorge’s voice is angelic and powerful.

Singing a collection of classic Spanish and English favorites, Jorge brings his band to accompany him for an evening of sheer musical pleasure. Jorge’s voice combined with the musical prowess of his band members gets better with each performance.

Now, in his 2nd season of encore performances, Jorge has consistantly added shows due to popular demand. Standing ovations from his audiences are not uncommon. Come see what you’re missing or see what he has added each week!

Leslie Jordan in ‘Show Pony’: Dec. 27-Jan 12

Big News! Leslie Jordan begins filming as a guest star on American Horror Story.  Watch for him!  Then see his show in Vallarta to hear all about it.

Leslie Jordan is a small town man with a giant propensity for scene stealing. Best known for his raucous, outrageous  recurring role as Karen Walker’s nemesis, BEVERLEY LESLIE on the television classic Will & Grace (garnering an Emmy for Best Guest Actor in a Comedy Series, 2006) as well as his career defining role as BROTHER BOY in both the original film Sordid Lives and the recent Logo TV sensation, Sordid Lives, The Prequel.

Leslie is also well known for his the dozens of outrageous and memorable appearances in commercials and hit television shows including Reba, Desperate Housewives, Ugly Betty, Alley McBeal, Boston Legal, Murphy Brown, Monk and as a series regular on the 80’s sitcom Hearts Afire.

Most recently, Jordan made a brief yet indelible splash performance (cartwheels anyone?) in the Academy Award winning box office sensation The Help.

A veteran of the live stage as well, his one man autobiographical shows include Hysterical Blindness, and other Southern Maladies That Have Affected My Life Thus Far, Full of Gin & Regret, Stories I Can’t Tell Mama, Deck Them Halls Y’All and My Trip Down the Pink Carpet which was based on the best selling autobiography of the same name and filmed as an HBO Special.

During non box-office hours you may leave a message for future shows. For same day reservations please go online or to the box office in person. We often turn off the ringer during shows as to not interrupt the performance. Please leave name and phone or email if you get our message system. Shows will sell out in high season so please reserve in advance. Our box office opens at 6:00 pm daily. Have a drink on our open air sidewalk patio before the show!
