Enjoy the beauty of Puerto Vallarta by touring some of its most architecturally interesting homes and/or joining us for a visit to our fantastic Botanical Gardens & local Zoo.
Home Tours
Our Home Tours visit 4 unique homes each week with tour funds supporting the International Friendship Club's Cleft Palate Surgery Program and other charitable programs.
Tour dates are Tuesday and Wednesdays from November 19, 2013 through April 9, 2014, except the weeks of Christmas and New Years.
Tours depart at 10:30 am and last approximately 3 hours.
The departure location is the Sea Monkey Restaurant, on Old Town's Los Muertos Beach at the corner of Aquiles Serdan, just south of the Molino de Agua Condominiums.
Donation price is 450 pesos.
Botanical Gardens and Vallarta Zoo Tours
Join us for a day of fun and beauty visiting both the local Zoo and the Botanical Gardens.
All proceeds from this tour support the International Friendship Club's Cleft Palate Surgery Program and other charitable programs.
Tour dates are Thursdays beginning December 5, 2013 (no tours on December 26 or January 2).
Tours depart at 10:00 am and return at 3:00 pm. Note that this tour begins 1/2 hour earlier than the Home Tours.
The departure location is the Sea Monkey Restaurant, on Old Town's Los Muertos Beach at the corner of Aquiles Serdan, just south of the Molino de Agua Condominiums.
Donation price is 450 pesos for adults and 250 pesos for children 10 and under.
Net proceeds from these tours support the IFC's Cleft Palate Surgery program and IFC donations to other charitable programs including:
• Santa Barbara Rehabilitation Clinic (for those with injuries and disabilities)
• Salvation Army
• IFC Rice and Beans Program
• R.I.S.E. (local orphanage)
• Pasitos de Luz (day care for young children with disabilities)
• Becas Vallarta (scholarship programs)
Please be advised that these tours involve a great deal of walking on inclines, paths, cobblestones and stairs. Tour participants should have good mobility and balance. Comfortable walking shoes are advised. Handicap access is not available.
