The Sunday Farmer's Market in La Cruz will start their fourth season on Sunday, November 3, 2013, beginning at 10:00 am.
This Artisan Products Market will again be held on the premises of Marina Rivera Nayarit in La Cruz de Huanacaxtle.
More than a hundred producers of food, jewelry, textiles, handicrafts and art prints are ready with their wares in the beautiful Market setting by the sea, surrounded by palm trees, bougainvillea, live music and lots of good vibes.
In addition, there will be workshops for children and an ambiance that can only be found at the market.
This market is distinguished by virtue of the inclusion ONLY of vendors who produce the products themselves, so a truly unique variety of products is offered to the lucky public.
How popular is the Mercado Huanacaxtle Sunday Market? Almost two months before it was to reopen for the 2013/14 high season, the Market had already maxed out with vendors.
Mayra Franco, one of the four principals of the Mercado sent word in early September that they had filled all of the available spaces at the Mercado del Mar/Marina Riviera Nayarit location, and all subsequent applicants will be put on the waiting list.
In its three years, the Mercado Huanacaxtle has grown in leaps and bounds and is the largest draw to La Cruz over the course of high season, consistently bringing thousands of new and repeat visitors to the market each Sunday.
